You would definately have the upper hand. You would most likely be taught the basics of Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, the two most practical and deadly martial

arts. Muay thai being stand up, and BJJ on the ground. You would have a serious advantage and beat most adversaries. However, it depends on the knowledge you take in, and how you apply it and handle the heat in a real fight situation!Machowolf says:January 13, 2011 at 12:55 am

First off, you shouldn’t be thinking of it that way. MMA or any martial arts training isn’t to prove who’s the badest bitch in the land……so you can go looking for fights to crush skulls.

That’s not what that is for. Martial Arts are about Self-Defense, not about going out and looking for trouble.

As for the level of training at 3 months. Remember, if you have 3 months worth, someone has 4, if you have 4…someone has 5….someone always has more training, more skills, more strength, is faster, more agile…..always. There is always someone better, and eventually you run into that person. Even if they aren’t technically better than you….they can still outfight you on any given day…mma training or not.

You must be a real p*ssy if you want to take up MMA so that it’ll be easier for you to beat up someone who hasn’t studied. If that doesn’t work out like you planned, maybe you could fight some young boys, or some girl scouts.

Depends how good you get in 3 months, everybody learns at a different pace, usualy it takes a little longer to get proficient but if you have the fitness and the determination and put in the work you can be pretty bad ass

Probably.

But – this is why MMA gets a bad name. Boofheads who want to learn it just to fight.

All styles get these people but MMA just has the bad luck that it is highlighted so obviously in this sport.

Nothing wrong with the style – victim of its own fame.

Honestly.. 3 months in any style you will learn just enough to be thinking about what you are tryin to do in a fight… which is a bad thing…. and you would be best served to do what came natural.. the whole point of MA training is to make your training second nature, or part of your “instinct”… and 3 months wont get you there… good luck

look, just because you had mma training dosen’t mean , you can take on someone easily. It is all in the person. Don’t misjude anyone, because even the smallest person can really do damage.

also, just because you had mma training doesn’t mean the other person doesn’t know anything either.
